Sing to the Lord a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy!
—Psalm 33:3

Student Testimonies

For the past two years, there has been a real stirring in my heart to go deeper in my relationship with the Lord, particularly in this thing we call "worship". I already knew that it is so much more to worship than music, but I wanted to be "immersed" in a culture of worship. That is truly what I have found here at the School of Worship in Tyler, Texas. From the teaching, to the hands on experience, to the times of intimate communion with the Lord both corporately and individually, I have truly been propelled into a new realm and revelation of what worship means...

Cathy - SOW graduate 2011

I have been invited to join our two worship teams at church and to help co-lead our youth band. Also, today I will be leading worship for our prayer school. To say that SOW was preparation would be an understatement. Everything I’ve learned is being put to the test, and I’m loving every minute of it...

Hayley Berry - SOW graduate 2010

School of worship has been really awesome; it brought me to new depths in my walk with the Lord personally and in the ministry of worship. During the lecture phase I learned a lot about Gods heart for worship, leadership, and His heart for me...

Dustin Tavella - SOW graduate 2006

Overview

We want to open our hearts for the new song, the new revelations about the meaning of worship and how to minister unto the Lord. We want to improve our talents and reach excellence in music and leadership. And we do want to learn what it means to shout for joy out of the freedom we have found in Christ. The purpose of a SOW is to raise up worshipers, passionate for Jesus, yet skillfully trained, who will both minister to the heart of God and go into all the world and bring the melodies of praise to the nations.
