DTS, CDTS, SOE, and CSOE more details
On any given day during your school you can expect...
Intense Teaching designed to show God's character and desires.
Some teachings include:
- The nature and character of God
- Hearing God's voice
- Worship, prayer and intercession
- God's purposes for your life
- Christian and other world views
- Urban and international missions
Small Groups meet twice a week for discussion of class material and prayer.
Intercession Groups pray that God's work will be multiplied throughout the nations.
Daily Quiet Times to pursue your personal relationship with God and to learn how to hear His voice.
Work Duties are daily two-hour shifts that teach the practical side of missions, serving one another, the value of teamwork and responsibility (e.g. meal prep, cleaning, and office work).
After Your Training there are a variety of opportunities to serve as a full-time staff member with Youth With A Mission. Whether here in Tyler, or at one of over 1100 YWAM centers around the world, we can help get you where God is calling you to GO! (at YWAM Tyler it is a requirement to have completed both the DTS and SOE or CDTS and CSOE to join staff). |

An average day during the lecture phase:
7:00am Breakfast

3:30pm Teaching/Work Duty
5:15pm Dinner
Your school may vary slightly. Evenings are to study and relax, but there will be some school meetings after dinner and on weekends. |

Can I receive college credits for attending YWAM Tyler?
Yes. While YWAM Tyler’s DTS is not an accredited school, we work with Ecclesia College (Springdale, Arkansas) which accepts YWAM Tyler’s credits into their programs. This opportunity to transfer credits offers qualifying students the option of benefiting from their YWAM training when pursuing a formal degree through this recognized academic institution.
Ecclesia College welcomes students from YWAM Tyler programs. It is Ecclesia’s desire that the principles and passions that have been instilled in students through the Discipleship Training School (DTS), School of Evangelism (SOE), School of the Bible (SOTB), and Teachers for the Nations (TFN) program will have the opportunity to continue to grow and expand in our unique collegiate environment.

• Students must be 18 years old or older, or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• DTS or CDTS is a prerequisite to further YWAM training.
• SOE or CSOE applicants must have successfully completed a DTS or CDTS.
• Students completing DTS or SOE can receive up to 20 credits from YWAM's University of the Nations. CDTS or CSOE receive 19 credits ($50 fee).
• Those who complete SOE or CSOE are eligible to apply to join YWAM Tyler's full-time missionary staff.
• Dates and prices are subject to change.
• Field Phase airfare and grounds fees are in addition to the tuition cost.
