DTS is an opportunity to discover that the unspoken, hidden desire of your heart is to be in an intimate relationship with the Creator of the universe. Through God's word, His character, and purposes for the future, you will go to deeper levels of commitment, and your passion will be refined and directed to fulfill God's intentions.
This five-month program is broken into a three-month teaching phase and an eight-week outreach phase. The classroom time aims to:

Teach you about the Bible so you have a good
foundation for your life |

Teach you about what God is like and to know Him |

Teach you to hear His voice (yes, He speaks!),
to pray, and to obey Him |

Encourage you to become more like Jesus |

know Him |

Train you in evangelism (how to share your testimony and faith with others) |

Expand your view of your life to include how you can help influence different areas of society |

Each of our schools includes an eight week outreach that allows you to apply the principles you soaked up during class. This is eight weeks of life-changing opportunity! It includes sharing the love of God through friendship evangelism, drama, music, teaching, and just about any other way you can conjure up. You really can't put God in a box. One day you might be feeding homeless people in Houston or sipping overpriced coffee with college students in Prague and 24 hours later you're preaching the gospel from the back of a yak to a Mongolian nomad who is hearing it for the first time. No kidding. |
