Sports DTS! 

Sept. 29, 2024 - Feb. 21, 2025

Come join our sports DTS where you can discover how God can use your passion for sports to advance His kingdom throughout the world!  During our lecture phase, we will use sports as a tool of discipleship, leadership development, and a way to practice what we are learning during lectures.  We will hone in our athletic skill so that we can utilize what we have learned for outreach.  Sports is a language that every country can speak and is useful for breaking down barriers and building relationships!  We will travel to new places and see how we can be a bridge between God and the nations.

Dance DTS!

Sept. 29, 2024 - Feb. 21, 2025

Dance DTS is for dancers who want to grow in their relationship with God in a deeper way and to share His love to the nations through our movement. We will be learning about the nature and character of God, how our life can be a reflection of His love, and creating a space to reveal His calling for our lives. We will be doing all of this while walking in excellence in our skill of dance to be vessels for His Kingdom expansion.

Media DTS!

Sept. 29, 2024 - Feb. 21, 2025

In a fast changing world, we as Christians want to know the best and most effective ways to share the gospel with as many as possible. In the Media DTS, we will learn about photo, video, and social media and the power it has to reach the globe! We’ll explore together how to use story, beauty, and creativity to awaken the deep places of people’s hearts and shift culture. Your artistic skills and techniques will be sharpened to articulate the heart of God in the context of lecture phase, outreach, and beyond. Let’s create together!

CAMPUS PHASE

Your first 12 weeks on campus focuses on “To Know God.” In this phase we emphasize heart transformation and character development. You'll truly deepen your walk with God.

outreach phase

The outreach phase focuses on “To Make Him Known.” You and your team will travel together putting into practice the principles learned in class while on both domestic and cross-cultural field ministry.

Through evangelism, stories, dramas, church ministry, and practical help for the poor and needy, you will be able to see the transforming power of the Gospel.

what to expect in DTS

Prayer

Prayer is a vital part of our Christian walk. It is during these times we grab hold of God’s heart. You will engage in rich times of prayer and grow your faith by diving into powerful times of intercession. All campus prayer times lift up, strengthen, and support missionaries from all over the globe.

Worship

God wants us all to see worship is a lifestyle. As we worship our Savior and King, we are catapulted into action. We like to say, "Worship is fuel for missions." You'll definitely grow deeper in your intimacy with God by immersing yourself with inspiring times of worship. 

Small Groups

Relationship is an essential part of your discipleship — first with God, then with others. Small groups are a place where lifelong relationships with your classmates begin. As you walk through this eye-opening and inspiring time, grow closer with classmates as you come together to exalt the name of Jesus.

One on One

During your time here at YWAM Tyler, we want to be available to help you process everything He is doing in your life. You'll link up with a mentor who will walk with you through your time here on the campus. Ask the hard questions. Say anything. We want to help you grow.

The Classic DTS is offered every January, July, and October. The Classic DTS is perfect if you're right out of high school and up to 30 years of age.

Our Crossroads DTS is designed for singles, families, and retirees to carve out space in their lives for discipleship.  

If you are 30 or above, then our Crossroads DTS could be for you.

SCHOOL TUITION AND DATES

DTS TUITION

$3,645 - Single person*
$3,745 - Single parent*
$7,490 - Married couple*

add: $100 for elective study

COST PER CHILD IS:

$310 - 0-1 year
$495 - 2-5 years
$630 - 6-12 years
$840 - 13-16 years

*Lecture phase tuition only.  Outreach phase airfare and grounds fees are in addition to the tuition cost.The price of the outreach phase can range from $2,500 to $4,500, depending on location. NOTE: A $100 discount if your tuition is paid in full one month before the start of school.

Applications should be submitted at least one month prior to the start of school.
